This carriage house in Chatham has hardwood floors throughout, and the homeowner wanted to keep that clean, classic look while adding a stair runner for safety. We custom fabricated this wool sisal stripe into a custom runner that complements the light and airy feeling of the house.
The subtle blue/grey and cream stripe marries the two wall colors–light blue in the foreground, grey on the back wall of the staircase. The freshness of the colors gives the space a breezy, coastal feel.
